French toast
Ingredients
- 1 loaf of challah bread (or brioche)
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups of cream (or half and half)
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 4 eggs
- Zest of one orange
- Pinch of salt
Preparation
- Make sure the bread is dry. If fresh, place in the oven for 20 minutes at low heat.
- Blend everything but the bread with an immersion blender.
- Soak bread for 20 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Grill at 350ºF
